Nanosox system will adopt different fabric permeability, parts, fittings and accessories, which distinguish from to each other. So usually, we’re not able to quote per meter no matter for international or domestic market, but quote per whole system with a total price. According to our experience, in large space places, it demands less quantity of Nanosox system and will have similarly or even cheaper cost comparing to traditional ducts. However, in low space, DurkeeSox system will cost more. Additionally, Nanosox system has flexible designs that can generate different costs. And proper design can be made upon customer’s requirements.
The fireproof, anti-mildew, antibiosis and anti-static abilities of the DurkeeSox fabric ducts are added into the fabric particle before spinning, not adding after fabric spinning, that’s way there are no influence after wash. Also, the abilities of fireproof, antibiosis and etc are washable and tested by national association of testing authorities. Especially the durability of fire proof ability is up to 50 times wash and tested by the national association of testing authorities.

A DurkeeSox system is made of flexible material, it will droop when the system is off. To gain a better visual effect when the system does not run, a double row suspension system can be used to maintain the round shape on the bottom. For better result, the IRR (Internal Retention Ring) system can be used to better maintain the round shape.
A DurkeeSox system's air dispersion principle applies induction type laminar flow air dispersion, when air flow is ejected out of the duct openings at a high velocity, compared with ordinary AC system, heat exchange with ambient air in the height is rare, the airflow will not dispersed till the air flow reaches destination area, thus little difference between cold air and hot air dispersion. In a practical application, AHU if matched with cold & hot air dispersion mode could achieve a better effect.
A DurkeeSox cleaning & maintenance period is variable and depends on the air dispersion mode, application environmental cleanliness requirement, AHU's filter grade, etc factors. Normally recommended maintenance period is every 3 months for refrigeration and food processing applications with clean requirement; for commercial, public places and large areas, etc normally a 1 to 3 year period. In a serious pollution environment, the color of fabric may become darker after washing.
DurkeeSox system friction factor is less than 0.024, similar to metal duct, but in practical applications, friction resistance of DurkeeSox system is much less than conventional ducts, due to mostly in round shape, lower average air velocity especially at the middle and end part. For simple straight duct, the system resistance is less than static pressure regain, so the friction resistance could be ignored. For complicated ductwork, the system resistance is only 1/3-1/5 of traditional duct. Thus pressure of traditional air duct is enough for DurkeeSox system. DurkeeSox system could design fabric permeability and orifices to guarantee the designed air supplying volume without any additional requirements on AHU.
A DurkeeSox system does not generate noise and transmit resonance during operating. Pleasers refer to DurkeeSox detailed technical manual. Noise absorption effect depends on different equipments and environment, it could not replace the absorber of AHUs system, although part of noise could be absorbed.
The actual service life of Insusox composite air duct system depend on the working environments,A/C unit conditions and so on,In general condition the service of Insusox is up to 25 years,and IF serial is 20 years,The reason of that is because the life time of all the raw materilals for the Insusox normally longer than 30 years

The Insusox have elliptical shape just for the limited height applications in order to reduce the height of the ducts. In this circumstance, the airflow resistance will be smaller, the performance and appearance will be better. Also, in part of limited height area, the Insusox air duct can be squeezed directly and pass the stumbling object. (Squeezing height should be less than 1/3 diameter)
All the Insusox ducts are connected by zipper which very easy to assemble, so the size can be revise based on the changed size on site. Portable cutting and tailing tools can do some changes on site for small amount. Also, the ducts can send back to manufacture to do the revising if time is enough.
The Insusox air duct was manufactured by massive quantity in processing lines, the manufacture period is very short. For example, air duct for a 50,000 sqm building only need 1 week to manufacture. And, we have urgent manufacture procedure if there any changing on site. The main point is the installation period of Insusox only 1/10 compare to traditional ductworks, so it still can save quite a lot time by using Insusox air duct system.
The Insusox’s leakage is not higher, actually less than half of traditional duct leakage rate. The stitchings can be sealed with the bound and double sealed zippers are also almost no air pass through.
